Pekka Hokkanen (b. 1979) is finnish printmaker. He is working with mezzotint, copper engraving, dry point, woodcut and several drawing methods. "My artwork may born in a two different ways. The first way is to build wholeness with small sketches. It's like a puzzle. Sometimes I have idea in my mind as such, whole and completed. To me, the most important things are excellent idea and polished result.” Pekka Hokkanen is a member of Finnish Printmakers, Finnish Woodcut Artists Society and The Graphic Artist Association of Lahti. His works are in several public and private art collections. Hokkanen has participated in numerous international exhibitions in Finland and abroad. He have had solo exhibitions in Finland and Bulgaria.
