Marketing / Social media intern (Hybrid)
Hours: 5-10 hours per week, flexible to your schedule, in-person and remote hybrid
Compensation: Unpaid, but will provide support with any and all efforts for outside funding or academic credit. Orca card included.
Requirements:
- Must be able to come in-person, once per month, including for Pioneer Square’s First Thursdays, 5-8 pm
- This role is open to individuals who have completed high school or alternative education, not current high school students.
- Preference for university students/individuals working towards a career in visual arts, art history, or marketing
- Preference for individuals with experience using Google Drive
Activities:
Our Marketing / Social media Interns work directly with the Marketing Specialist / Art Photographer to prepare images and video for marketing and assist in generating alt text for image captions. You will gain experience photographing artworks and experience working within Davidson Galleries’ marketing graphics and visual assets. Interns participate in basic photography and social media content creation.

- Good organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and on a team
- Consistency in meeting regular deadlines
- A passion for visual arts / art history
- A willingness to learn
